Zap2it - Donnie Wahlberg, Wife Divorcing
“Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Donnie Wahlberg’s marriage doesn’t have ‘The Right Stuff.’”

Wow…. who thought up that tasteless lead?

Things I Love This Weekend

  1. The films of The Archers (Powell and Pressburger) They never fail to make me smile and yet are practically unknown on these shores. A Canterbury Tale was not only wonderful in its own right, but it’s the first British movie with an American character I’ve seen in a while that didn’t make me cringe. Or rather, the cringey bits were so delightfully tongue-in-cheek that I didn’t mind them one bit! I’ve got A Matter of Life and Death on tap for next week. I hear it’s a good’un!
  2. TV Guide for giving Wanna Bet? a Cheers. :-D
  3. Adaptations of Elizabeth Gaskell books I loved-loved-loved Cranford a few months ago and now feel like a tear-stained wreck after watching North and South this morning. It’s time to rewatch Wives and Daughters, I think!
  4. Jasmine Green Tea Mmm.

U2 Tracks Leak After Bono Plays Stereo Too Loudly

Proving that if media can be seen, heard or touched it can be copied, songs from U2’s forthcoming album have been leaked online. Four tracks from the album, provisionally entitled ‘No Line On The Horizon’, have appeared on the Internet. The mechanism of the release is pretty comical - Bono blasted the tracks from a stereo in his villa in the South of France so loudly, that a passer-by recognized his voice and recorded them.

ROFL!!

Ooh! Adult Swim has bought the rights to Look Around You. I haven’t seen series 2 yet, so I hope they keep with it til the end.

Those Williams Street cats must have an extremely dry sense of humor. The last Britcom they showed was the similarly deadpan Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.
